Antique 1916 Rand McNally DETAILED ATLAS of MEXICO and BORDER STATES.  Of special note is the center map of Mexico and the southern border of Texas which notes locations with accompanying text for:  U.S. Army Headquarters, multiple U.S. forts along the Mexican border, U.S. War Ships positions, Routes taken by U.S. soldiers and "Principal Garrisons of Mexican-Constitutionalist troops in the North".  This covers a period of the "Mexican Border Wars" when the Mexican Revolution and Pancho Villa were active.  This atlas was printed in the same year that Pancho Villa attacked the American border town of Columbus, New Mexico thus this region would have been of greater interest to U.S. citizens.
Compliments of Union Trust Co. of Rochester, NY.  Atlas contains approximately 16 printed pages and is about 10-1/2" x 13-3/4".  Condition: paper covers with light soiling and toning, occasional creases and edge wear.  Please see scans for additional condition review.
