Antique Manual Operated Scroll Saw
First one of these I have come across - Very interesting piece of history
Measures about 16" in total height with 10" throat depth
The plate has the following inscribed on it in German:
"Muller's Universal ,, Laubsage und BohrMASCHINE" and "D.R.P.A. No. 492"
My limited research and even more limited language skills determined that it translate roughly to:
"Muller's Universal Jigsaw and Drill" and
"German Reich patent applied for 492"
Good used condition - showing wear from use and age - has been lightly cleaned but not restored - Moves freely but has no blade
