    A clean, tight firm book in Good condition.  There is no dust jacket - this is an Army manual.  A splendid World War I manual in tan

    leather boards, 7 7/8" x 5 1/2" x 486 thin supple pages of splendid World War I military instruction - a wonderful piece of history.
    Finances are updated, condemnation of 'submarine mines', Army transport, logistics, arms, medals, buildings, prisoners, post exchanges, punishments, recruiting, retirements, transport, much much more - all here.
    When the Americans joined alongside the Allies as an
    Associated Power
    (not an Ally) in 1917, the military world had already greatly changed by the first three years of World War I.  Manuals of instruction were updated to that then-current day - here is a prime example.
    An uncommon item.  A book you just don't see in its original state.
    Wear to the spine-ends and the leading corners including wearthrough to the bottom leading corners.  This one was handled and used - probably World War I usage.
