1973-75 Camaro Corvette Chevelle Monte Carlo Starter Seat Belt Interlock Switch

You are bidding on an original 1973-1975 Camaro, Corvette, Chevelle, Monte Carlo seat belt interlock ignition starter override relay solenoid switch (system reset switch) that was mounted under the hood.  GM Part #1243384
Comes with switch, base, 4 original wires for splicing, and three original mounting screws for the base and ground wire.  Base is a little faded and the hold-down tab is broken, however.  Wire connectors in loose for easy removal if splicing is not needed.  If it needs to be spliced in, small tabs on each connector will need to be slightly bent up so connectors will stay in the base and connect to the switch.  I do not know if the switch is fully functional, but it appears to be in good condition.  All is sold as-is.
Most 1974 Cars had a switch like this mandated by the government.  It may have spilled over into 1975 and some 1973 cars may have had it as well.  This switch may fit many other GM cars as well, but I'm not sure of the exact applications.  I know for sure this will fit Camaro, Chevelle, and Monte Carlo, and probably all other Chevrolets as well.  Very rare part.
