1922 00 Gold Certificate  Fr.1220 VF 30 PMG-Original High Grade-Discovery note--off market for decades well over a decades. 13 years!
1922 Gold e 00 Choice VF 30.. How many for sale currently--anywhere this condition or better=NONE & this is our 8th one into inventory.

And a 1902 Fr 1219 e (more populated than our Fr. 1220 by 7 notes)  00 VF 35 and flat 63 Gold recently sold for ,000 & 8,000 respectively. This auction is for the 1 note as shown in photo above.
This is a very scarce-crispy-original Large Size Gold Certificate- high denomination note----a rarity of lofty caliber---PMG has only graded less than 20 FR1220's  notes to date.
Census shows approximately 48 known to exist via the census net of being in Museums and the Federal Reserve.
The seal, serial numbers, color scheme and the artfully engraved 00 on the face are all bright for the grade, and while slightly faded from time--still  reasonably bold, orange-yellow tangerine back design enhances to the overall eye appeal of the Note. It looks like an original Note. Crinkly--original waves--Reverse semi electric Gold--  This attractive essentially problem free note has not been on the market for almost 12 years...and it remains one of the nicest specimens of this very popular type.
Large Size Gold Certificate 00 1922 are a terrific find  for any high denom aficionado.

ur 1922 Thousand Dollar Gold has all its semi-full color on both sides--this is after over 100 years!! The back, which has a tendency to fade on this type, is the still semi-bright, full orange/tangerine color and cannot imagine the blast of color of a Choice or Gem. Those Unc notes will be priced at low six figures--have sold choice gems at over 0,000. A flat 58 just became available at 0,000 for further info in

This example is High-Grade 100 year old 1922 One Thousand Dollar Gold Certificate--Choice VF 30--A highly regarded PMG---Fr. 1220 ,000 --just a few nicer in grade--only 19 total graded--nothing new to census in years. In fact--PMG has only graded less than 50 of the 1907 and or 1922 in total.
There are currently only just 19 of these graded to date by PMG----and reported less than 48
